Crown Prince Mohammad bin Naif, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received in Jeddah this evening US Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly and Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Thomas Bossert. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two friendly countries including the existing security cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir held meeting with a number of of the United State Congress his visit to Washington last week.  On May 3, Minister Al-Jubeir met with Sen. John McCain, Chairman of Senate Armed Services Committee; Sen, Jack Reed, the Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services; Sen. Richard Burr, Chairman of Senate Intelligence Committee, and Rep. Mac Thornberry, Chairman of House Armed Services Committee.

In the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Cameroon Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Mis-her, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works (KSRelief) delivered 30 tons of dates to the World Food Program (WFP) in Cameroon.  The shipment is part of the Kingdom's donation to WFP for its distribution in Cameroon.

The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, said that neither Saudi Arabia and the Arab alliance countries have no ambitions in Yemen and its aim is that Yemen, the Yemenis and the region enjoy security and stability.

Ambassador Al-Jaber made the remarks in a meeting on Yemen at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy in Washington, DC.

Since its inauguration, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works (KSRelief) has provided a number of projects worth over $600 million to 127 governorates in Yemen in various fields including relief, humanitarian, shelter and environmental sanitation programs.

The Riyadh-based center was highly commended by sovereign states, community leaders and international and regional organizations working in the areas of relief and humanitarian services as well as visitors of the facility as provider of state-of-the-art organization.
