The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today rejected an offer by Turkey to set up a military base on Saudi territory. In a statement carried the Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom said it “cannot allow Turkey to establish military bases on its territories” and noted that the Kingdom has no need for this since its armed forces and military capabilities are at the best level and it has military presence in a number of countries, including the Incirlik Air Base.
