The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain issued a joint statement, which reads as follows:

The four countries value the efforts of the United States of America in the fight against terrorism and its financing and the full and solid partnership embodied in the Arab-Islamic-American Summit, which has established a firm international position to confront extremism and terrorism regardless of its source and origin.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a condolence and consolation cable to Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sissi on Sinai terror victims.

In his cable, King Salman expressed utmost sorrow on hearing the twin bombings in northern Sinai and extended condolences to the president and strongly expressed denouncing and disapproving of the two heinous and criminal acts, affirming the Kingdom stance besides Egypt and its fraternal people against all those who are trying to affect its security and stability.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is determined to firmly face whoever dares to harm its stability and security and get him accountable and punished.  This came in telephone calls to the parents of two policemen who were martyred in a terrorist attack in Al-Musawara district of Awamiyah in  Qatif Governorate yesterday.

Lance Corporal Adel bin Faleh bin Ayed Al-Otaibi and Corporal Abdullah Traiki Al-Turki were killed when their patrols were hit by two projectiles from unknown attackers.

The Ministry of Interior announced today that a security patrol was exposed to a terrorist attack in Al-Naserah District in Qatif Province, injuring two officers.  The patrol car was attack by explosives as it was passing a building under construction.  The ministry said that security authorities begun investigations of terrorist attack.

Head of the Saudi Delegation to the G20 Summit in Hamburg, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, announced today that of Saudi Arabia will host the G20 Leaders' Summit in 2020 under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

A Security man was killed in Al-Musawara a district of Awamiyah in Qatif Governorate as a result of an explosive projectile being fired a security patrol, another six security men were injured.

Saudi Arabia will participate in the Group of Twenty (G20) meeting in Hamburg in Germany.  On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of the State and Member of the Cabinet, will lead the Kingdom's delegation to the summit.

Foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain affirmed, in a joint press conference held at the Liberation Palace in Cairo today the necessity of combating terrorism and drying up its sources, stressing that countries that support extremism and terrorism will not be tolerated.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said that the boycott of the State of Qatar will continue until Doha adjusts its position.  He added that additional steps will be taken in time after consultation with Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE.
