The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the terrorist attack in Istanbul which resulted in deaths and injuries.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received on Sunday a telephone call from Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Hadi. During the call, President Hadi congratulated the King Salman the second anniversary of his accession to the throne and praised the King Salman in support of the Yemeni people in restoring legitimacy to Yemen.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today condemned the terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey, in which dozens of people were killed and injured.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated the Kingdom’s support and solidarity with Turkey against terrorism and expressed condolences to the families of the victims as well as the Turkish government and people, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
Saudi Arabia today welcomed the proposals put forth by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on a final settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the Kingdom views the proposals as being in accord with the majority of the resolutions of international legality and most of the elements of the Arab Peace Initiative adopted at the Arab Summit in Beirut in 2002 and by the Islamic Summit in Makkah in 2005, and that the proposals represent an appropriate basis for achieving a final settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Saudi Embassy in Amman today launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Umrah program for people with special needs. The program is in collaboration with the Handicapped Child Care Charity Association in Irbid, Jordan and the Medical Educational Center.

The Royal Court announced today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has ordered the formation of a relief campaign to help the suffering Syrian brethren, especially those evacuated from Aleppo and other areas, who have been displaced and because of the difficult situation they face. The campaign will begin Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today commended United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334 condemning the construction of Israeli settlements and demanding a halt of Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian territory.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that the UN resolution confirms beyond any doubt that Israeli settlements on Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, have "no legal validity".
The Ministry of Interior announced today that 1 pm local time, a border outpost came under fire from Houthi militias from Yemeni territory. The ministry added that the Saudi Army responded and neutralized the source of the fire. The exchange resulted in death of Army Private Sultan bin Ayed Farhan Al-Sharari.
