The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Assistance (Ksrelief) distributed 30,000 food baskets to the people affected by drought in Somalia, benefitting 180,000 persons. In a statement, Fahd Al-Osaimi, Director General of the Relief Department at the center, said that the food aid is estimated about 2,130 tons including sugar, flour, rice, dates, oil, and beans. The aid is expected to benefit 180,000 people.

Minister Al-Jubeir added that the Kigdom and the U.S. "have a very, very strong people-to-people relationships with the U.S., and I expect that this will continue.”

Saudi security forces killed two terrorists affiliated with Daesh (ISIL) in a district north of Riyadh today.
“Wanted terrorist Taie bin Salem bin Yaslem Al-Saeiri was killed in a shootout with security forces after trying to escape with his companion, Talal bin Samran Al-Sa’edi,” said Spokesman of the Interior Ministry Major General Mansour Al-Turki.
Security forces confirmed that Al-Saeiri was on the list of the most-dangerous terrorists wanted by Saudi authorities.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has imposed a temporarily ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs, byproducts and equipment from provinces and districts in five countries due to an outbreak of an extremely virulent strain of Avian Influenza. SFDA said in a statement today that the ban affects products from Bacs-Kiskun County in Hungary, Kherson Province in Ukraine, Lubuskie Province in Poland, Friesland County in the Netherlands, and the provinces of Tarn-et-Garonne and Aveyron in France.
