The Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen has successfully intercepted and downed an armed drone in Yemeni airspace, Spokesman Col. Turki Al Maliki has announced. The drone was launched by the Iran backed Houthi terrorists from Sana'a province, in an attempt to target civilians in the Kingdom.
Yesterday, Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud met with U.S. President Donald J. Trump at the White House to present her credentials as the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States.
During the ceremony, Princess Reema conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to President Trump and the American people.
Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud has arrived in Washington, DC to begin her assignment as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States.
“Princess Reema will immediately begin her mission to strengthen the historic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States,” said Fahad Nazer, embassy spokesperson. “The Ambassador will bring a fresh perspective on a rapidly changing Saudi Arabia to Washington, continuing to build on key areas of cooperation between our two countries.”

Privileges that the holder of the Saudi Premium Residency shall enjoy include, but are not limited to; residency in the Kingdom, visit visas for relatives, ownership of real estate, working at private establishments with the ability to change jobs, exiting and entering the Kingdom at his/her own accord, engaging in business activities, in accordance with the Foreign Investment Law.
On Friday, June 21, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) granted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia full membership. Saudi Arabia is the first Arab country to gain membership to the elite intergovernmental body, underlining its commitment to leadership in the region and around the world on combating terror financing. This significant milestone demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s sustained and institutional engagement on combating the scourge of terrorist financing around the world. The Kingdom’s official accession to FATF will take place in October 2019.
RIYADH – Saudi Special Forces, in cooperation with Yemeni Special Forces, conducted a successful operation on June 3 that resulted in the in the capture of the leader of Daesh (ISIS) branch in Yemen known as Abu Osama Al-Muhajir.
The official spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Colonel Turki Al Malki, announced the operation today. Several other ISIS leaders were captured in the raid, including the chief financial officer of the branch.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday, June 24, 2019. During the meeting, they reviewed strategic relations between the two countries, and discussed the latest developments at the regional and international levels, and the efforts being exerted towards them.
Spokesman for the coalition restore legitimacy in Yemen Colonel Turki Al Maliki stated that the terrorist attack on Abha international airport on June 23rd, 2019 led to the death of a Syrian resident, and the injury of 21 civilians of different nationalities, including 13 Saudi citizens, three women (Egyptian and Saudi), as well as two children of Indian nationality.
All cases were transferred to the local hospital, which received four injured civilians of Indian nationality, two of Egyptian nationality, and two citizens of Bangladesh.
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) plenary meeting, which was concluded on Friday, 21 June 2019, in Orlando, USA, granted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia full membership of the group. The Kingdom is the first Arab country to obtain membership in FATF. Its accession will be taking place at the next FATF plenary meeting in October 2019.
