Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in Geneva Faisal bin Hassan Trad rejected allegations by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch that the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen violated human rights in Yemen.

Ambassador Trad said that the Kingdom is keen to adhere to the principles of the United Nations and works tirelessly to support and promote human rights, peace and global stability, fight terrorism and support the prosperity and development of all the peoples of the world.

Ambassador Trad stressed the keenness of the Kingdom and the coalition to end the suffering of the Yemeni people through a political solution in implementation of relevant Security Council resolutions and the Gulf Initiative.
