The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz today sent a cable of condolences to His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium, condemning the criminal attacks in Brussels and calling for global cooperation to fight terrorism.
The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRELIEF) distributed 4,000 food baskets in the Taiz Governorate of Yemen as part of a project to distribute 100,000 food baskets to the affected region.

GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani has condemned today’s terrorist attacks in Belgian. In a statement, Secretary-General Al-Zayani described the attacks as a horrendous crime that contradicts with moral and humanitarian principles and values as well as international laws. The secretary general reiterated GCC states' rejection of terrorism in all forms and manifestations, stressing their support for the Belgian government in all the legal measures that it takes to tackle such criminal terrorist acts.

At the outset of the session, King Salman briefed the Cabinet on the outcomes of his talks with Guinea President Alpha Conde; the message received from Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; the telephone call received from Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir; and the results of his meetings with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri and U.S. Congressional delegation.

The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works (KSRELIEF) on Friday launched the fourth aid shipment areas affected by earthquakes and floods Tajikistan. The aid shipment included food and 18 tons of coal. The aid distribution is being coordinated with the Tajik Red Crescent Society and the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
