King Abdullah receives phone call from President Obama

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a telephone call today from U.S. President Barack Obama “to wish him well, and to congratulate him on the progress that he has made toward a full recovery.” The Saudi monarch is in New York recuperating from successful back surgery. In return, King Abdullah congratulated President Obama on the recent approval by the U.S. Senate of the new START Treaty.
