Kingdom donates $25 million to Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria

Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Ambassador Abdallah Al- Mouallimi met with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon in the latter’s office. Ambassador Al-Mouallimi conveyed to the Secretary-General a letter from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in which he announces a $25 million donation from Saudi Arabia to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The Secretary-General conveyed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its generous donation. Ambassador Al-Mouallimi reiterated that Saudi Arabia will always be among the top nations when it comes to helping those in need around the globe.
