King Abdullah extended his Eid Al-Adha greetings and wished that God accepts their Hajj. “Thanks to Allah Almighty for helping all of you to come here to perform this blessed ritual in spiritual atmospheres,” King Abdullah said. He added that the Hajj embodies the meanings of Islamic fraternity and abolished the differences among the followers of the same religion as per God’s verse: "O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all the things)”
King Abdullah added that “among the greatest things and the most beloved to the heart is viewing the guests of Allah (pilgrims) moving among the sacred places in faithful positions that renew the hope that this nation is still promising and it is committed to its righteous faith and moderation according to His verse: ‘Thus have We made of you an Ummah, justly balanced.”
The King concluded that the “thanks to God, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has done its best to provide services for the guests of Allah Almighty. And it is able, as far as possible, to achieve security for pilgrims and deter whoever dares to infringe on their worship and security.”
