Saudi Arabia provides financial support to Palestinian refugees

The Saudi National Campaign to Support the Brothers in Syria has provided SR 5.7 million [$2 million] in financial support to Palestinian refugees previously residing in Syria who recently sought refuge in Lebanon and Jordan. This support will help provide food aid to the Palestinian refugees, in collaboration with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). According to a statement issued by the UNRWA, Executive Director of the Saudi Campaign Mubarak bin Saeed al-Bakr and UNRWA Representative Peter Ford signed a cooperation agreement in Amman today to address the urgent food needs of Palestinian refugees affected by the Syrian crisis.
