Arab Justice Ministers Council hold meeting

Minister of Justice Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Isa led the Saudi delegation to the 25th meeting of the Arab Justice Ministers Council in Cairo yesterday. The agenda included seventeen topics, including mechanisms for combating terrorism, corruption, money laundering and organized crime.

The Council reiterated its condemnation of all forms of terrorism and expressed support for Arab efforts to get the United Nations General Assembly to form a working team to study a proposal by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to establish an international center for fighting terrorism.

In a press statement following the meeting, Dr. Al-Isa underscored the importance of Arab cooperation, adding that a number of proposals involving the judiciary field had been forwarded to the Arab Interior Ministers Council for approval.
