Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place yesterday in Beirut, which killed eight people, including the head of the Intelligence Branch of Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces Brigadier, Wissam Al-Hassan. “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia denounces this criminal act, which targeted the security and stability of Lebanon,” said an official statement. “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stresses the importance of arresting the perpetrators, because ignoring such an act would lead to chaos, assassination of honest people and undermining the security of Lebanon.” The statement also expressed Saudi Arabia’s condolences to the Lebanese President, the families of the victims and the people of Lebanon and wished the injured people a speedy recovery.
