Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation Authority, has approved the Authority’s new regulation to prohibit smoking inside the Kingdom’s airports and their facilities. The regulation is based on a previous Cabinet decision. According to the Authority’s President, Abdullah bin Mohammed Nour Rahimi, all airports are being instructed to implement the directive beginning on 01/12/1431H [approximately 11/7/2010].
