Emergency project to provide potable water for Somalia approved

Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who is the Supervisor of the Saudi Campaign for the Relief of the Somali People, issued a directive yesterday approving an emergency project to provide potable water for Somalia. The project involves the digging of 150 wells in eleven different regions of the country, in order to provide potable water for more than 3.6 million Somalis affected by famine and drought.
