Crown Prince receives Middle East Institute delegation

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz received a delegation of senior researchers from the Washington-based Middle East Institute (MEI) at his office at the Ministry of Defense in Jeddah yesterday. The visitors included retired General and Chairman of the MEI Board of Trustees Anthony Zinni; former U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom and member of the MEI Board of Trustees Robert Jordon; and MEI Vice President Kate Seelye. The audience was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom James B. Smith.

The MEI delegation was received in Riyadh today by the Saudi-U.S. Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Majlis Al-Shura (consultative council), headed by Osama bin Mohammed Al-Kurdi. During the meeting, U.S.-Saudi relations and the latest regional developments were discussed.

Afterwards, the visitors met with President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
