Creation of four new Saudi universities approved

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved the establishment of four universities in the city of Dammam and in the provinces of Kharj, Shaqrah and Majma'ah. The announcement was made by Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Ala’nqari. The first university in Dammam will include the twenty-four colleges in the city of Dammam and the provinces of Qatif, Jubail, Hafr Albatin, Nairiah and Khafji. The second university in Kharj will include the twenty colleges in the provinces of Kharj, Dilam, Aflaj, Wadi Aldwasir, Hawtat Bani Tamim and Solail. The third university in Shaqra will include the twenty-one colleges in the provinces of Shaqra, Hraimola, Quwaia’yeh, Dwadmi, Sajir, Dorma, A’fif, Thadiq and Almahmal. The fourth university in Majma'ah will include the twelve colleges in the provinces of Majmaah, Alghat, Alzolfi, Sodair and Rmah.
