Leaders arrive in Kingdom to participate in Islamic Solidarity Summit

A number of presidents, heads of states and senior government officials of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states have arrived in the Kingdom to participate in the extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Summit called for by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The meeting is scheduled to take place later today in Makkah.

The guests include Jordanian King Abdullah II; Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas; Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa; Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi; Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari; Iranian President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad; Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani; Afghan President Hamid Karzai; Turkish President Abdullah Gul; President of Niger Mahamadou Issoufou; President of Chad Idriss Deby; Guinean President Alpha Conde; Guinea-Bissau President Manuel Serifo Nhamadjo; Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh; Moroccan Prince Rashid; Guyanan Presidential Envoy George Hallaq; Indonesian Foreign Minister Dr. Marty Natalegawa; Gambian Minister of Presidential Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Anjugu Bah; and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Zlatko Lagumdzija.
