August 6, 2010
Owais Ahmed Ghani, Governor of Pakistan’s Khaibar Province, received Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer in Peshawar today. Khaibar Province, located in the country’s northwest, has been particularly hard hit by massive flooding that has left more than 1000 people dead and many more homeless. Ambassador Al-Ghadeer traveled to Peshawar to receive the third shipment of Saudi humanitarian aid, delivered today by plane, and to follow up on the process of aid distribution. Governor Ghani thanked Saudi Arabia, and especially the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, for the assistance.
