King Abdullah meets with Palestinian, Chinese officials

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Riyadh today.

The two leaders discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the peace process. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani and the Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Jamal Ashoobaki also attended the meeting.

In related news, King Abdullah met with China’s Special Envoy on the Middle East Issue Sun Bigan, who delivered a message from Chinese President Hu Jintao. Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal also met separately with Mr. Sun, a former Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran.
