First Saudi relief cargo aircraft arrives in Bangladesh

The first Saudi cargo plane carrying 100 tons of relief supplies arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh today. The aid is being dispatched upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to help ease the devastating effects of Cyclone Aila that struck Bangladesh on 25 May killing over 190 people. The Bangladesh Ministry of Food and Disaster Management estimates about 5 million people have been impacted by the cyclone.
