Agreement signed between Saudi Campaign for Palestinians in Gaza, UNRWA

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Campaign for the Relief of the Palestinian People in Gaza signed a joint cooperation agreement in Jeddah today with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). Under the partnership, Ramadan food baskets will be provided and distributed to poor Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip at a cost of SR 2.025 million [$539,770].

In a statement following the signing ceremony, new UNRWA Commissioner General Pierre Krenpol thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz for the many Saudi relief programs that have helped alleviate the suffering of Palestinian refugees.
