Kingdom’s literacy rate rises to 96 percent

The literacy rate in the Kingdom has risen to 96 percent, up from a rate of 35 percent forty years ago. This fact was noted by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Boys Education Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Barrak during a visit to schools conducting literacy campaigns in Tabuk Province yesterday. The Ministry of Education holds literacy programs around the country every year during the summer season.
