Saudi Islamic Academy in Washington celebrates graduation

The Saudi Islamic Academy in Washington held a graduation ceremony last night for its 2010 seniors, who make up the school’s 21st graduating class. Forty-nine students received their diplomas, including several pupils from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Qatar, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and other Arab and Islamic countries. In a speech delivered on behalf of Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel A. Al-Jubeir, Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington Dr. Mohammed Al-Eisa, who serves as Deputy Chairman of the Academy’s Board of Directors, commended the continuing support provided by the Saudi government for the education sector.
