Makkah Governor to honor Jeddah flood volunteers

Governor of Makkah Province Prince Khalid Al-Faisal on Wednesday will honor 5,000 volunteers who helped those afflicted by the November 25, 2009 flash floods in Jeddah, Sultan Al-Dosari, director of Department of Studies and Public Relations at Makkah Principality said today.

Al-Dosari said that Prince Khalid ordered the formation of a committee to organize the ceremony.  The ceremony will include a documentary film on the roles of volunteers in the flood-ravaged areas.
