Three more Saudi detainees released from Guantanamo

An Interior Ministry spokesman announced today the repatriation of three Saudi citizens following their release from the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. The men, identified as Ahmed Zuhair, Khalid Al-Seif, and Abdulaziz Al-E’eili, are now subject to Saudi law.

The Ministry spokesman stressed that the Kingdom is continuing to seek the return of all remaining Saudi detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay. He expressed Saudi Arabia’s satisfaction with and appreciation of the level of cooperation shown by American authorities during extraditions proceedings.
