Saudi Campaign sends generators to Lebanon

June 9, 2010

In line with the directives of Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who serves as Supervisor General of the Saudi Popular Campaign to Assist the Lebanese People, a new consignment of aid arrived in Lebanon yesterday. The delivery, made under the supervision of the Campaign’s Beirut-based Director, Abdulrahman Al-Samhan, included eleven generators with an overall voltage power of 12,000 horsepower. The Popular Campaign was first launched during the war between Israel and Hezbollah in the summer of 2006.
