Saudi Embassy hosts reception for Woodrow Wilson Center

June 2, 2008

The Saudi Embassy in Washington today held a reception for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars Board of Directors and the Wilson Council, the Center's national advisory group.

During the visit, Director of the Saudi Information Office Nail A. Al-Jubeir briefed the Board and the Wilson Council on Saudi-US relations and hosted a luncheon in their honor. President and Director Lee Hamilton was also present.

Established by an act of Congress in 1968, the Woodrow Wilson Center aims to unite the world of ideas with the world of policy by supporting preeminent scholarship and linking that scholarship to issues of concern to officials in Washington.
