Saudi Arabia calls for punishing perpetrators of Houla massacre

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reiterated today its condemnation of the massacre against civilians in the Syrian town of Houla, which resulted in the death of scores of innocent people, including women and children. This came during a speech delivered by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani during the opening session of the 5th Ministerial Meeting of Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, which is currently being held in Tunisia. Dr. Madani called for the perpetrators of the massacre to be punished. Furthermore, he expressed confidence that China will play its role in stopping the bloodshed, protecting civilians and condemning the serious violations of human rights in Syria. During his address, Dr. Madani also lauded the relations between the Kingdom and China in a variety of fields.
