Saudi Charitable Campaign provides $6 million for tsunami victims

The Saudi Charitable Campaign for the Relief of the Victims of the Tsunami in East Asia has given SR 11.62 million [$3.1 million] to the International Organization of Migration (IOM). In addition, the Campaign has provided SR 11 million [$2.94 million] for the construction of 63 housing units in the Maldives.
Saudi Arabia has made extensive contributions towards alleviating the suffering of the people and countries in the southern part of Asia afflicted by the December 2004 earthquake and tsunami.
