Earthquakes hit Harat Al-Shaqa

The National Center for Monitoring Earthquakes and Volcanoes, an affiliate of the Saudi Geological Survey Authority, has reported that since yesterday evening 19 earthquakes have struck Harat Al-Shaqa, Al-Ais Center.
The earthquakes, which were felt between 9:30 pm last night and 11:00 am this morning, registered as high as 3.6 on the Richter scale.
In a statement, Civil Defense Force Commander Colonel Zuhair Sabieh stated that a geological team was surveying Harat Al-Shaqa, adding that no village of Al-Ais Center was evacuated.
