May 16, 2008

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and President George W. Bush held a second round of talks tonight.

King Abdullah is currently hosting President Bush at the royal ranch in Jenadriyah. The president is in the Kingdom for a two-day official visit, his second this year.

The Saudi-US talks continued the discussions begun earlier in the day, with a focus on the Middle East peace process. Saudi Ambassador to the US Adel A. Al-Jubeir also attended the meeting.

After the talks, King Abdullah hosted a dinner in honor of the president and his delegation, which includes First Lady Laura Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Earlier in the day, Mrs. Bush visited with breast cancer patients at King Fahd Medical City as a follow-up to the Saudi-US Partnership for Breast Cancer Awareness, which she launched in October 2007.
