Royal order appoints commander of naval forces

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz issued a royal order today promoting Maj. Gen. Dhakhail Allah bin Ahmad bin Mohammad Al-Waqdani to the rank of Lieutenant General and bestowing upon him the position of Commander of Saudi Naval Forces.
The King also issued a royal order appointing Sheikh Dr. Abdulkareem bin Abdullah Al-Khdhair as a full time member of the Standing Committee of Research and Fatwa (Islamic edict) affiliated to the Council of Senior Ulema (religious scholars) at the Excellent rank. Furthermore, royal orders were issued promoting seven judges from Court President (Rank A) to Appeals Judge; promoting three judges from Court President (Rank B) to Court President (Rank A); appointing 56 judges to the position of Judge (Rank B); promoting nine judges from Assistant Judge to Judge (Rank C); and appointing 83 judges to the post of Assistant Judge, according to Minister of Justice Dr. Mohammed Al-Eisa.
