King Abdullah visits Eastern Province

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz departed Riyadh today for a visit to the Eastern Province.

Upon his arrival in Dhahran, the King was received by Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Eastern Province Governor Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz and a number of other officials. Later, King Abdullah attended a luncheon hosted by Prince Mohammed in Khobar and met with a group of princes, ulema, sheikhs, and citizens.

Many top officials are traveling with the King, including Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Chief of General Intelligence Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of Education Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Muhammed.
