King Abdullah offers condolences to President Obama on the Boston bombings

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, today offered his condolences to U.S. President Barack Obama on the Boston bombings.

On behalf of the people and government of Saudi Arabia, as well as on his personal behalf, King Abdullah expressed his great pain and sorrow upon learning of the bombings that occurred in Boston, and the loss of lives and injuries caused by them.  King Abdullah described the perpetrators as criminals and their actions contradicting all values of humanity and “whoever carried out these actions only represent themselves, as such crimes are not tolerated or condoned by any religion or moral ground.”  King Abdullah wished a speedy recovery for the injured and safety and stability to the friendly American people.
