King Abdullah receives message from U.S. President

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a message today from U.S. President Barack Obama. The message was delivered by U.S. National Security Advisor Tom Donilon during an audience at the King’s palace in Riyadh. Donilon, who was accompanied by an American delegation, conveyed the greetings of President Obama, which were reciprocated by the King. Then, the two sides reviewed issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Chief of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; Secretary General of the National Security Council Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; Advisor to the King Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom James B. Smith.
