Ministries of Education and Higher Education to revamp teacher training curricula

The Ministries of Education and Higher Education are working jointly to revamp university curricula to produce higher quality primary, intermediate and secondary school teachers, Saudi Gazette reported today.  Some 50 specialists from the two ministries are involved in the project under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education.

An official at the Ministry of Education told the English daily that the specialists will evaluate the educational programs at teacher training colleges and present their recommendations to overhaul the curricula and improve the quality of teachers.
