King Abdullah, President Nguyen hold bilateral meeting

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet today held a bilateral meeting.  The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.

Following their meeting, King Abdullah hosted a dinner in honor of President Nguyen and his delegation.

President Nguyen arrived in Saudi Arabia this afternoon on an official state visit.  The president was received at King Khalid International Airport by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Naimi, Saudi Ambassador to Vietnam Salah Sarhan and Vietnamese Ambassador Dao Thanh Chung.

Saudi Arabia and Vietnam established diplomatic relations in 1999.
