U.S.-Saudi “Friendship 3” and “Desert 3” drills begin in Tabuk

The “Friendship 3” and “Desert Hawk 3” joint military drills began in Tabuk today with the participation of Saudi and American land forces. In a statement, the Commander of the Northwestern Area, Maj. Gen. Saad Abdullah Al-Qarni, said that the joint exercises are aimed at raising the readiness of Saudi forces in the region. He thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz for their support of his region’s troops.
