GCC power grid headquarters dedicated in Dammam

Under the patronage of Eastern Province Governor Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the new headquarters of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Power Grid was dedicated in Dammam today. The inauguration was carried out by Minister of Water and Electricity Abdullah Al-Hussein, other GCC ministers in charge of electricity, and GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani.

Addressing the gathering, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity and Water Ahmed Al-Jassar expressed thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for providing the land for the project.

During his remarks, Al-Zayani said the initiative is more evidence that GCC leaders are committed to furthering cooperative and developmental projects for the benefit of their peoples.
