GCC summit concludes

The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries concluded their 29th summit in Muscat today.


The Saudi delegation was led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

During the two-day summit, the GCC leaders discussed a wide range of political, economic, military, security and social issues. The summit focused particularly on GCC cooperation and integration, as well as regional and international developments, including the violence in the Gaza Strip, relations with Iran, and the tensions between Pakistan and India.
