Saudi Arabia sends dates to Yemen

Saudi Arabia has sent 1,500 tons of dates to Yemen in line with the Kingdom’s ongoing assistance to its Gulf neighbor.
Charge d’Affairs Saad Al-Nasir handed over the aid to World Food Program officials in Sana’a yesterday.
Each year, Saudi Arabia sends 4,000 dates to the World Food Program in Yemen in addition to $862,000 for transportation costs.
