Kingdom donates $1 billion to impoverished OIC nations

Saudi Arabia has donated $1 billion to support impoverished nations of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz made the announcement at a prize distribution ceremony in Madinah March 13.

The Jeddah-based OIC held its 11th summit in Dakar, Senegal March 13-14.
