New stage of Gaza relief effort initiated

In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the King’s Relief Campaign for the Palestinian People started a new stage of relief distribution in Gaza.


Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Supervisor General of the campaign, ordered that urgent food supplies be immediately dispatched to Gaza. In addition, assistance will be provided to Palestinian farmers. The new relief effort will cost an estimated SR 15 million [$4 million] and is being coordinated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the World Food Program and Doctors Without Borders.
