King Abdullah holds summit with Syrian, Egyptian and Kuwaiti leaders

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz hosted a summit at his palace in Riyadh today with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah.

 

The leaders discussed issues of mutual interest, as well as strategies for enhancing Arab unification and regional cooperation.

The summit was also attended by Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal; Saudi Chief of General Intelligence Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz; Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit; Egyptian Chief of General Intelligence Omar Suleiman; Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Muallem; Syrian Political and Media Advisor to the President Dr. Buthayna Sha’aban; Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah; and Director of the Office of the Emir of Kuwait Ahmed Al-Fahd.
