Symposium on information technology opened

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari opened in Riyadh today the Second National Symposium on Information Technology.

 

The three-day gathering, organized by King Saud University’s Computer and Information College, is entitled "Challenges and Solutions in Information Economy and Investment."

The speakers at the symposium include Mohammad Bin Ibrahim Al-Sowaiyel, the head of the King Abdul Aziz City for Sciences and Technology; Indian software expert Faqir Kohli; and Abdulwaheed Khan, Deputy Director General of UNESCO for the information and communications sector.

Around thirty working papers and subjects will be presented, focusing on issues pertaining to information technology investment.
