The International Islamic Relief Organization, Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), in coordination with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity organization (JHCO) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), has implemented the Food Aid Project for Brothers in the Gaza Strip.

Organized in Amman, the initiative has thus far provided seventeen trucks loaded with more than 210 tons of food, as well as emergency medical supplies valued at more than SR 2 million [$533,319], to Palestinians in Gaza.

The IIROSA has donated SR 750,000 [$199,995] worth of urgent aid to the UNRWA, allowing the agency to purchase generators and non-food materials for the people of Gaza. In addition, $1 million has been provided to fund a U.N. program aimed at creating employment opportunities for Palestinian refugees.
