King Abdullah holds talks with Egyptian president on key regional issues

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for talks in Riyadh today.

The two leaders discussed the situation in Palestine, including the siege of Gaza. They also discussed Arab efforts to resolve the political crisis in Lebanon and the importance of maintaining Iraq’s security, unity and sovereignty. Bilateral issues were also addressed.

Also today, Saudi Arabia and Egypt signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation in higher education.
