King Abdullah and Chadian President hold meeting

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Chadian President Idriss Deby held a meeting in Rawdhat Khuraim today. At the outset, the King welcomed President Deby and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in Saudi Arabia. For his part, President Deby expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for his efforts at facilitating reconciliation between Chad and Sudan, which has resulted in a rapprochement between the two countries. Bilateral relations and developments in the regional and international arenas were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by Second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz; Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal; President of General Intelligence Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz; Deputy Chief of the National Guard for Executive Affairs Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Advisor to the King Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of State and Cabinet member for Shoura Council Affairs Dr. Saud Al-Mathami.
